RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

Thank you for shopping at Electric Sports Company.

If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with a purchase, we invite you to review our policy on refunds and returns. The following terms are applicable for any products that you purchased at electricsportscompany.com.

Conditions for Returns:

We have a 15 -day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.

In order for your item to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

- Your item was received in the last 30 days

- Your item must be in the same condition that you received it

- Your item is in its original packaging

- You have the receipt or proof of purchase

The following cannot be returned:

- Items made to your specifications or clearly personalized.

- Items which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.

- Items that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.

- Items that are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.

Returns Process:

To request a return, send us a message using our contact form, or email us at info@electricsportscompany.com. Please provide the following information:

- Order number

- Product name and/or SKU

- Reason for returning the item

- Images

- Any additional details that will help us process the return

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

If the returned products have met the conditions for returns specified above, we will process the refund and send you a confirmation email. We are only able to credit the original credit card used to make the purchase.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Restocking fees and return shipping fees

Returns are subject to restocking fee of up to 50% of the purchase price. Electric Sports company may assess the restocking fees against the customer’s account or deduct the fees from the refund amount.

Electric Sports company does NOT charge for restocking fees or return shipping labels for returns of defective items through no fault of your own, or if you received the wrong item, or if we have made some other shipping error, provided the item is within its return policy period.

For returns of unopened items that are returned in the original condition as shipped within the return policy period, electric sports does NOT charge for restocking fees, but customers are responsible for any return shipping costs.

Please see  below for how much refund you may receive depending on the condition of the returned item.

PARTIAL REFUND

- Non-defective items that are returned opened and the packaging is damaged.
80% of the item’s purchase price and you are responsible for any return shipping costs.
- Non-defective items that are returned unopened and outside of the return policy period
80% of the item’s purchase price and you are responsible for any return shipping costs.


Returns received in any of the following conditions may be rejected or accepted for a partial refund.

- Items not in original condition, damaged, missing accessories, retail box, UPC code or showing obvious misuse not due to Electric Sports Company's error
If accepted: Up to 50% of the item’s purchase price but you are responsible for any return shipping costs

If rejected: you will be notified that the return has been rejected and no refund will be issued and you are responsible for any return shipping costs. You can choose the following options:
(1) the product will be shipped back to you. You will be responsible for the shipping cost.
(2) The item will be disposed or donated.
If you do not select one of the above options within 14 days of ESC will  inform you that your return has been rejected, and the product will be disposed/recycled or donated.



Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Warranty Returns

Most manufacturers offer an additional warranty period, which covers against merchandise defects. To determine warranty requirements for a specific item, please contact the manufacturer or contact us for assistance.

Please note warranty processing may take 4-8 weeks and will be subject to the individual manufacturer's policies and discretion. Manufacturer warranties do not cover defects determined to be caused by normal wear or due to customer negligence.

International Returns

International shipments should be marked as a "Merchandise Return" with a carrier that does not levy brokerage fees. Customer is responsible for any applicable brokerage or customs charges.

Any items shipped COD or having additional brokerage fees that are charged to ZEITBIKE upon delivery will be rejected.

Apparel and Lubricants/Cleaners

Apparel items must be packed in their original garment bag (or equivalent plastic bag protection or fine boxing and paper layers) and include all original tags. The plastic bag or cardboard box protects the item from the outer, bigger cardboard box. Items packaged without this protection most likely will arrive scuffed and will be returned to the customer.

Cleaners and Lubricants must be shipped back in their original bottle, box and include all fluids.

Shades and sunglasses shall not have any dust or dirt on them, as that is a sign of usage. We need the original case, all the little content, and the outer cardboard box.

Unused items that are returned with missing or damaged packaging, tags, components, or hangers may be returned to the customer or subject to an additional processing fee of up to 20% of the merchandise cost based on the availability of those missing or damaged components.

Electronics, Hard Parts, Tools, Tires

Any electronic which has been removed from packaging or manufacturer seal broken is non-returnable.

Any part, which has been installed or shows signs of attempting to be installed on a bike is non-returnable.

Any Tool or Chemical that has been opened or seal broken is non-returnable.

Open box items for which the packaging has been destroyed are not returnable.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
